Spanish
II is designed as a course in Spanish with emphasis on communicative competence
and contemporary culture.
Practice is given in listening, speaking, reading and writing, with
opportunities for self-expression, sharing information, and conversing on
everyday topics.
This class also helps students gain a deeper understanding of
contemporary life and culture in various parts of the Hispanic world,
including regions of the United States where there is a strong concentration of
Spanish speakers.
This class will also study the many aspects of the basic linguistics of
all languages, including the English and Spanish languages.
