I
earned my undergraduate degree in elementary education from Lander University.
I also earned a masters degree in elementary guidance from Clemson University.
This is my second year teaching at Hollywood Elementary School, but I have
been in education for 29 years. I have taught fifth, seventh, and
eighth grade and also served as an elementary counselor for eight years.
I have
one son who is currently attending The University of South Carolina in
Columbia. My husband and I have just relocated to the midlands and live
on Lake Murray.
Some of my favorite
things are reading, gardening, boating, shopping, traveling, and spending
time with family. I have two pets, one cat named Gabby and a Springer Spaniel
named Cleo. One of my favorite things about teaching is getting to
know each student and watching the changes they go through as they grow
and develop into young adults. |

Homework

Homework for my class
consists of keeping a reading log and reading at least 15 minutes each
night. Any center work not completed in class may be completed at
home. Please check your child's agenda book daily.
